The Gist Of It

I grew up in the suburbs of Boston a mere fifteen minutes away from the Atlantic Ocean. I then spent 4+ tumultuous years at Ithaca College in upstate New York before moving back to Massachusetts to wait tables and hang around aimlessly. I spent some equally aimless time up in New Hampshire. Eventually, I hopped on a Fung Wah bus with $100 and one backpack and got off in New York City to "seek my fortune" as they say in fairy tales. After 4+ years in The City (not all of them tumultuous) and fortune found, I'm leaving the east coast and life as I've known it behind and moving to Minnesota with my boyfriend. This water-loving girl is about to become Land Locked. (But is oh so in love!)

  2. Trying to figure out if that random line-break in this post is from the WYSIWYG function. (I abhor rich text. Plain HTML gives me greater control over how it looks, although it's annoying in Blogger because you need to remember to enclose your paragraphs in tags.)

  5. haha! Of course I will Bex! And don't worry about only finding it just now. I haven't really officially "launched" it yet. Once I give my notice at work I'll probably link to it on my facebook or something, but for now I'm just getting the hang of it!

  6. I object to the "land locked" statment.

umm hello, 'land of 10,000 lakes' (MN) and wisconsin has more lakes than minnesota does!

    sheesh.

    ;)
